And it’s even more exciting when they are honored as a result of their partnership with Vitality Group. We congratulate our client, Baylor College of Medicine which was just honored with the 2017 Optimas Award in Partnership from Workforce magazine.
Now in its 27th year, the Optimas Awards celebrate HR’s success at solving some of the biggest business challenges of our time. Each year, the Optimas Awards are presented by Workforce magazine to recognize human resources and workforce management initiatives that achieve business results for the organization.
Baylor College of Medicine was recognized for its BCM BeWell wellness program and its collaboration with Vitality to bring this program to other Texas employers. BCM BeWell has received several awards, most recently being included in the top five “2016 Healthiest 100 Employers in America” by Springbuk Inc., a health analytics software company.
The Vitality collaboration, announced in May 2017, offers mid-sized employers in Texas a comprehensive healthy living program. Through this unique arrangement, businesses can take advantage of a proven program that will improve the health of their employees, and ultimately the community at large.
