Baylor College of Medicine’s (BCM) award winning BCM BeWell program is the overarching health and wellness resource for the College, offering onsite, offsite and virtual opportunities for employees and covered family members to participate in events, programs and workshops.
“This program has helped numerous members of our community reach their personal health and well-being goals,” said Dane Friend, chief human resources officer for BCM. “By using innovative technology and internal partnerships, we have been able to successfully lower our overall health risks as well as reduce healthcare-related costs for both our employees and the College. As we continue to expand as an institution, it is essential that we continue to provide these resources to support our employees as they work to carry out the mission and vision of the Baylor College of Medicine.”
BCM also collaborates with Vitality Group, a global leader in corporate health and wellness, to offer the Vitality program to Texas employers to improve the health and wellness of their employees.
Tanya Little, Chief Growth Officer for Vitality, added, “Congratulations to Baylor College of Medicine for once again being recognized for its commitment to inspiring and creating a culture of healthy living and wellness. Not only do these efforts benefit the employees and covered family members throughout the College, but through our partnership the initiative is also available to other employers throughout Texas. We look forward to continuing to work with them as not only a client, but an agency collaborator.”
